Unwins Ammi Majus Graceland Seeds, also known as Bishop's flower, have beautiful white flowerheads, reminiscent of lace. They appear throughout summer above fine foliage and look equally beautiful in flower beds or as a cut flower in a bouquet.

An RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, this hardy annual is a reliable performer and a brilliant choice for any gardener's garden.

  • RHS AGM
  • Perfect for pots and containers
  • Loved by pollinators
  • Prefers full sun
Sow: March to May
Flowering: June to September

Sowing Outdoors
Remove any weeds and rake the soil to provide a firm, even surface. Sow seeds on pre-watered soil, lightly covering with a little more soil. For a natural ‘drift’ effect, sow in gentle semi-circular lines. Keep the soil moist until seedlings appear and water regularly during dry spells.

Thinning
When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to around 25 cm apart to allow room for growth.

Aftercare / Advice
Grow in full sun or part shade. This variety produces elegant white flowerheads resembling lace, which bloom throughout summer above fine foliage. Ideal for borders, wildlife gardens, and cutting. The seeds are also attractive to goldfinches, adding further wildlife value to the garden.
