Unwins Antirrhinum Giant Rust Resistant Seeds or Snapdragon are a half-hardy annual - a truly classic garden favourite. They will look wonderful adorning borders and containers around your garden.

Producing a colourful mix of shades of yellows, reds and whites. This specific variety has been bred especially to resist rust which can so often affect this flower.

Sow: February to April
Flowering: June to October

Sowing Indoors:
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a dusting of sifted compost. Place in warmth (18–25°C) and keep moist.

Growing On:
Keep seedlings in a light position, shading from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.

Hardening Off / Planting Out:
Gradually acclimatise seedlings to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out from April onwards. Space plants 25 cm apart.

Aftercare / Advice:
Water well, particularly during warm weather. Feed and deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers.
