The perfect plant for summer beds and borders as these begonias bring masses of flowers and are suitable for cooler growing conditions.

Sow: January to March
Flowering: June to October
Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface; do not cover with more compost. Cover the tray with cling film or a clear lid until seedlings appear. Place in warmth and light at 20–25 °C, keeping the compost moist.
Growing On
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into small (8 cm) pots or trays of compost. Grow on at 15–20 °C until well-established.
Planting Out
Gradually acclimatize plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting from late April onwards, once the risk of frost has passed. Allow 25 cm between plants.
Aftercare / Advice
Keep well-watered, especially during warm spells. Feed regularly during the flowering season and remove spent flowers to encourage a longer display of colour.
