Unwins Chrysanthemum Tricolor Mix Seeds produce distinctive tricoloured flowers in cheery summer colours. Producing white, yellow and red flowers with contrasting circles in scarlet, mahogany, orange and rust.

These hardy annuals are good for cutting, providing bunches of beautiful blooms for inside your house.

Ideal for brightening up patios or sunny border, even into early autumn. These plants have attractive ferny foliage and plenty of impressive daisy-like flowers.

Sow: March to May / August to October
Flowering: June to September

Sowing
Rake soil to provide a firm, even surface. Sow seeds thinly in pre-watered soil, lightly covering them with a little more soil. Keep moist until seedlings appear and water as required in dry spells.

Thinning
When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to allow their development and prevent overcrowding.

Aftercare / Advice
Late summer and autumn sowings may benefit from cloche or fleece protection during hard frosts. These plants generally bloom earlier the following summer than spring-sown ones.
