Doff Wool and Moss Hanging Flower Basket Liner
Water Retainer The doff wool and moss hanging flower basket liner is a natural Water Retainer. This natural hanging basket liner is an natural easy to use lining material for flower hanging baskets. Fluff it up and line your chosen planter, before adding the soil and plants. Easily moulds into any shaped basket or pot. This liner absorbs and retains water and is also an excellent insulator for plants roots. Enhance the growth, health and appearance of your hanging plants. The loose wool moss liner is versatile easy to use and can be inserted into any type of hanging basket, planter or trough container. The texture also helps deter slugs and snails
How To Use
Line the flower basket with the wool and moss blend to about 1/3 of the height of the basket
Fill the basket with compost and then gently place plants through the mesh of the basket, add more wool and compost up to the top
Ready for the rest of the plants and water well.
This basket liner blend is also suitable for the wicker type baskets as will also help to retain water. Tips on flower baskets Hanging baskets are watered often, this tend to remove all the nutrients out of the compost much faster than regular containers. Add a slow release granular fertiliser to the potting mix when you plant, then use a liquid fertiliser at half strength once a week, Stability in moisture helps maintain healthy growth and promotes larger blooms.
