Unwins Gypsophila Diamond Spray Seeds produce an abundance of tiny, pure white blooms that are perfect for cutting.
These hardy perennials produce a mix of double and single flowers that are highly prized by flower arrangers, making the perfect addition to fresh or dried arrangements.
Sow: February to July
Flowering: June to September
Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in a warm environment at 15–20 °C and keep moist.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, shading from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out 30 cm apart from early summer onwards.
Advice / Aftercare
The stems may benefit from support with canes as they grow.
