This helps remove loose dirt and debris. Prepare a solution of warm water and mild dish soap in a bucket. Dip a soft sponge or cloth into the soapy water and gently scrub the inside and outside of the watering can. Pay attention to areas with stubborn stains or buildup. Once you've scrubbed the watering can, rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. Ensure all soap is washed away to prevent streaking or residue buildup.
If your watering can has mineral deposits or lime scale buildup, you can use a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar to dissolve them.
