Description
A very attractive daisy-flowered plant that is perfect for large pots and borders. It prefers full sun and is excellent for attracting pollinators. Recognised by the RHS as a Pollinator-friendly plant.

Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover them with a dusting of sifted compost or vermiculite. Place in the warmth at 20–24 °C and keep the compost moist.

Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position but shaded from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant them into trays of potting compost spaced 5 cm apart or individually into 8 cm pots.

Hardening Off / Planting Out
Keep seedlings shaded from bright sunlight, then gradually accustom them to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out, avoiding frosts. Space plants 40 cm apart.

Aftercare
Remove dead flower heads regularly to encourage further blooms. Cut back dying or dead growth in autumn.

Growing Tip
Early sowings will flower later in the first year; autumn sowings will flower earlier in the second year.
