Unwins Nicotiana Whisper Mix Seeds is tobacco plant giving an elegant mix of fragrant flowers with a sweet evening scent. The flowers fade from deep pink to white as they age creating a pretty multi-tone effect.

Whisper Mix is an upright variety is a long-flowering mix of subtle shades is ideal for the back of a garden border.

Sow: Feb to May
Flowering: Jun to Sep

Sowing
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in the warmth, 15–20 °C, and keep moist.

Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart to trays of potting compost or singly into small pots.

Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out 45 cm apart when the risk of frost has passed.

Advice
Best planted where you can enjoy the beautiful evening fragrance.
