Flowering: Jun to Sep
Sowing
Sow on the surface of module trays of pre-watered compost and keep in warmth, 10–15 °C. Keep moist.
Growing On
When the seedlings are established in the cells of the tray, transplant into 8 cm pots and keep frost-free.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out when the danger of frost has passed. Allow 35 cm between plants. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot for best results.
Advice
Please note that the young plants are green. The purple colour will develop once the young plants have established and been planted outside.
