Unwins Phlox Twinkle Stars Seeds produce dainty, star-like flowers in pretty shades of pink and red.

This half-hardy variety have a long flowering season, giving your pots, hanging baskets or borders a summer full of colour.

Sow Indoors: Feb to Apr
Flowering / Sow Outdoors: Jun to Sep

Sowing Indoors
Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth, 15–20°C, and keep moist.

Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost.

Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 15 cm between plants.

Aftercare
Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
