Unwins Radish Celesta F1 have brilliant red bulbs, perfect for use in salads and sandwiches and an excellent source of vitamin C.

Celesta has good mildew resistance, and is slow to crack or become spongey. A vigorous, quick-growing variety with strong, upright foliage. A fantastic option to grow for your dinner table.

Harvest: Apr to Oct

Sowing Outdoors
Sow seeds thinly in a shallow, pre-watered row. Lightly cover seeds with a little soil. Keep soil moist, as dry conditions impair germination. Thin as needed to 2.5cm apart.

Aftercare
Water plants generously in dry weather.

Advice
Small sowings made every three weeks during the summer should ensure a continuous supply. Pick roots while small and young. Harvest regularly to avoid a woody texture.
