Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly, 1 cm deep directly in the harvest location, in rows 30 cm apart. When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to 20 cm apart. Keep soil moist at all stages of growth to prevent roots from becoming woody.

Advice
Pick when small and young for the best flavour and texture. Turnips grow best in well-dug soils with consistent moisture.
