Unwins Verbena Scentsation Mix Seeds produce half-hardy annual flowers of a beautiful combination of colours.

These plants are loved by pollinators due to their wonderful fragrance. They look beautiful when cut and arranged into a bouquet. Perfect for pots and containers.

Sow: Feb to Apr
Flowering: Jun to Sep

Sowing
Fill a 6cm pot with seed compost, shake level, and firm with the base of another pot. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually into compost, pushing seeds 1cm deep. Place in a propagator at 15–20°C or cover pot with cling film and leave in a warm room.

Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on at a minimum temperature of 10°C.

Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out, when risk of frost has passed. Water well until established.

Advice
Fantastic to plant near a door, window, or pathway so that you can fully appreciate the gorgeous scent.
